These terms explain the rules for using CareValue Health's platform, including virtual care access, account use, payment responsibilities, and service limitations.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of CareValue Health's website, applications, communication channels, and related virtual care services. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the platform or submit personal information through it.

2. Scope of the service

CareValue Health provides access to digital health support, including telemedicine, care coordination, account management, and related healthcare services made available through the platform.

Services offered through the platform are limited to what is expressly described at the time of use. Availability may vary by location, practitioner availability, service line, clinical suitability, and regulatory limitations.

3. Medical emergency limitation

The platform is not intended for medical emergencies or life-threatening situations. If you believe you are experiencing an emergency, call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency facility immediately.

CareValue Health may decline, suspend, or redirect a consultation where virtual care is not clinically appropriate.

4. Eligibility and account registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or booking a service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You may not impersonate another person, register using false information, or use the platform for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.

5. User responsibilities

You agree to provide truthful health, identity, payment, and contact information where requested, and to update that information when it changes.

You are responsible for maintaining access to compatible devices, internet connectivity, and secure communication channels needed to use the platform.

6. Consultations and clinical decisions

Clinical advice, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up steps are subject to practitioner judgment, applicable law, and the information made available during the consultation.

Use of the platform does not guarantee diagnosis, treatment outcome, prescription issuance, referral approval, or uninterrupted service availability.

To support documentation, quality assurance, safety review, service operations, and related care coordination activities, virtual consultations may involve third-party AI-assisted meeting tools that can join sessions and process consultation content.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Where fees apply, you agree to pay the charges presented to you before confirming a booking, subscription, or paid service. Prices, billing intervals, and payment conditions may change from time to time and will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.

Refunds, reversals, credits, and cancellations are handled according to the service purchased, the booking status, and any applicable payment or cancellation policy presented during checkout or support resolution.

8. Privacy and health information

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information and health-related information.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that certain information may be processed to provide care, operate the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent misuse, and maintain patient safety.

This may include the use of AI-assisted tools and authorized service providers to review, record, transcribe, summarize, store, and analyze consultation-related communications where permitted for service delivery, quality control, documentation, and compliance purposes.

9. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, designs, graphics, workflows, and materials made available through the platform are owned by CareValue Health or its licensors, except where otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the platform except as permitted by law or with prior written authorization.

10. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the platform to harass, abuse, threaten, mislead, scrape, interfere with security, upload harmful code, circumvent access controls, or violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

We may investigate suspected misuse and take appropriate action, including suspension, cancellation, reporting, or legal enforcement.

11. Service changes and availability

CareValue Health may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time, including features, service lines, practitioner access, and account functionality.

We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device, network, or integration.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CareValue Health is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including any mandatory consumer or patient protections under applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the platform if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms, created safety or compliance risks, or used the service fraudulently or unlawfully.

You may stop using the platform at any time, but obligations that by their nature survive termination will continue to apply.

14. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which CareValue Health operates the relevant service, subject to any mandatory local legal protections that apply to you.
